On 19 January, the FID Materials Science held a web meeting with the VDMA Material Hub interest group, which was organized by the working group Steuerungstechnik and the department Umwelt und Nachhaltigkeit. After a detailed presentation of the Material Hub, we discussed with the participating industry representatives about practical extensions of Material Hub to include environmental and sustainability-related material properties and functionalities. Thanks to the intensive exchange, we were able to take away many ideas and tips.
